Gargi College offers a full-time two-year MSc programme across Chemistry specialisations to the students. Now, DU declared that PG admissions will take place on the basis of DUET. However, those with a BSc in Chemistry degree have an option to take admission in two ways: Direct Admission and through Entrance Test.

Along with the entrance exam, interview rounds are also conducted for admission to Gargi College MSc programme.

Total Seats for MSc in Chemistry are 19.

In 2023, the highest package offered at Gargi College is 21.50 LPA, and the median salary is 4.75 LPA. The average package is 5.35 LPA in 2023. 

Gargi College's placement cell offers various opportunities for internships, including with MissionEd and DU Assassins. The placement cell also conducts activities such as personality development, communication skills, mock interviews, and aptitude tests.

Gargi College only offers an M.Sc in Chemistry. A candidate must score the minimum marks required in the qualifying exam CUET-PG. The specific details about cut-off marks in CUET are not yet available. However, from a total of 400 marks, 330-360 marks are preferable to get enrolled for M.Sc at the college.

Gargi College in New Delhi accepts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to M.Sc. The overall cutoff for CUET 2023 is 608–770 marks. To be eligible for the entrance-based selection, candidates need to score at least 50%. 

Gargi College also requires graduation from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate for admission to M.Sc.

The college offers M.Sc. in Chemistry only. The eligibility criterion is that a candidate must pass a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry with an aggregate of 60% from a recognized University. Along with graduation marks, the university considers CUET-PG marks more. The specific information regarding the minimum marks required in the CUET-PG exam is not yet available. However, marks between 320-350 are preferable.
