Gargi Teachers Training College Reservation

As an affiliated institution of the University of Delhi, Gargi College follows the reservation policy adopted by the university while admitting students to its Bachelor of Arts programme. Following is the distribution of seats in the college for different categories:

• Scheduled Caste (SC)
• Scheduled Tribe (ST)
• OBC: Other Backward Classes
• Economically Weaker Sections: EWS

The proportion of seats for each category is decided by the Government of India after consultation with the University of Delhi. There are reservations under the PwBD and Dependents of Armed Forces Personnel, too.
The allocation of reservations in all categories is subject to the total number of approved seats in any particular BA programme offered by Gargi College. The college has to adhere to the reservation policy in letter and spirit at the time of admission so that there is equality of opportunity available to students.
