The following are the requirements for admission to the Garware Institute of Career Education and Development's (GICED) MBA program
Educational Requirement: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any field, including the arts, sciences, commerce engineering.
Minimum Grades: An undergraduate degree with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for students in the reserved category).
Candidates must have taken a recognised entrance exam, such as the CMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT, or any other comparable exam. Additionally, GICED may administer its own entrance exam.
Age Requirement: Admission is open to all ages.

Candidates seeking admission to GICED BSc courses must fulfill the eligibility guidelines prescribed by the institute. Only those candidates who fulfill the requirements will move to the selection stage. Mentioned below is the specialisation-wise detailed eligibility criteria:
- Psychological Health and Behavioural Science- Pass in Class 12 with Arts or Science.
- Aeronautics- 45% (general) or 40% (reserved category) in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (PCME).
- Paint Technology- Pass in Class 12 or Equivalent (Vocational Science with two years experience).
- Biomedical Instrumentation- Pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemi

The admission to M.A. at Garware Institute of Career Education and Development is done on the basis of entrance exam. The accepted exam is SMAT. The eligibility includes the applicant to have passed undergraduate course from a recognised university. However, it is to be noted that the colllege does not offer M.A. in Education.
