GATE Admit Card

The GATE 2026 exam date for agricultural engineering will be released soon. However, IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 exam dates. The branch-wise exam schedule will be made available soon. Stay tuned. 

Only a hard copy is required to enter the GATE exam centre. Candidates must provide their GATE enrollment ID and password to download the hall ticket. The admit card will released on the GATE website. Candidates who have submitted their application form successfully will be eligible to download the hall ticket. 

The GATE 2026 hall ticket will be released on the official GATE website in January 2. Candidates can download the admit card from the GOAPS portal by entering their enrollment ID and password.

The steps to download the GATE 2026 admit card is as follows -

• Visit the GATE's 2026 official website and select the application portal link

• Log in using credentials - enrollment ID and password. 

• The hall ticket will be displayed on the GATE GOAPS candidate's dashboard

• Check carefully for any incorrect details.

• Ensure that you keep multiple copies of the admit card as it will be required at the time of counselling. 

No, only the hard copy of the admit card (printed in colour) is allowed for entry in the exam hall along with an original Photo ID. GATE admit card 2026 will not be issued to the candidates whose registration is incomplete or unsuccessful. If the authorities find any information, not in the prescribed format or is doubtful, the GATE application will be rejected and the admit card will not be issued. 

The GATE is a mandatory document that serves as an identity proof for the candidates appearing GATE exam. If there are any discrepancies in the admit card, then it is advisable to contact the GATE authorities providing necessary information. Candidates can contact or send them an email mentioning the issue. 

In case there are any wrong details on the admit card, candidates must immediately inform their zonal center, as admit cards with unclear information will not be allowed. The GATE admit card will be made available few days before the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card using their enrollment ID and password. The GATE hall ticket contains details regarding the exam and the candidate, along with the branch-wise exam date. It is mandatory to carry the GATE admit card in the examination hall, as it is required for entry. 

One can follow the below-mentioned steps to retrieve the forgotten password or Enrollment ID: - Visit the official website, click on login and then click on Forgot Enrollment ID or Password. A new page will appear. - If you remember the Email Address/Enrollment ID but you have forgotten the password, click on "Request for an OTP" - You will get an SMS and email on your respective registered mobile number and email id. - Use it to login again.
