GATE Answer Key

In GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) official answer key, MTA stands for Marks to All.

"Marks to All"  states that the marks allotted to that question will be given to all candidates who attempted that particular test paper.

The fees for challenging GATE answer key was INR 500. The last date to raise objection was Feb 28. The accepted mode of payment are netbanking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

Candidates who want to raise an objection against the answer key will have to first login using their credentials, then look for the answer they want to object. Select and provide justifications to the question, pay the fees and submit. It must be noted that only GATE provisional answer key can be challenged. 

The GATE Answer Key 2026 is now available with response sheet and question paper. The release date was Feb 22, 2026. Candidates who have attempted the exam can check their answer key at the GOAPS portal.

Candidates who have appeared for GATE exam can check their responses and GATE 2026 answer key on the IIT Guwahati 2026 official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The authorities have released the answer key, question paper, along with their response sheet. Applicants can download the answer key PDF from GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. 

The GATE provisional and final answer key are different. The GATE provisional answer key is released along with the response sheet. Through the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to raise objections. On the other hand, the final answer key is basically released after the review process, which is used for the GATE score evaluation. Candidates must note that the final answer key cannot be rechecked or raised for objections. 

Candidates can download answer key from the official website of GATE. GATE answer key will be available in two formats - provisional and final answer key. Provisional answer key of GATE can be raised for objection.
