Hi Spandan,
Somaiya would be better due to its brand name and location. The average package offered is around Rs 9L, and is one of the top B-schools in/around Mumbai. The new IIMs are not great in terms of placements and ROI; it will take some years for them to be established. Still if brand name matters to you than placements/ROI, then you can go for them(specially Amritsar & Nagpur). Good luck!

Only you can calculate the "worth" of the college as it is subjective to your expectations and your performance once you come here. It absolutely depends on what you want from the two years of your life. Please go through the website and make an informed choice.

Considering last year's cut-off at GIM (92 Percentile), you stand a good chance at getting a call.
All the best.

We can't say anything for certain till the cutoffs are declared. But seeing the past trends you seem to have a good chance. The cutoffs are likely to be declared after February 21.

Seeing the last year cut-offs, your chances look slim but wait for the cut-offs to come out for this year.

You have very low chances. The CMAT cut-off for MBA in GIM will be around 96-97 percentile.
