Goa Institute of Management got 43rd rank in all-India rankings by NIRF last year. Its NIRF ranking will be released mid of the year. For more information, visit the official website of the ranking body.

No, GIM Goa does not accept CMAT scores for its PGDM programs for admissions. It only accepts CAT or XAT exam score. CAT score of previous year is accepted and XAT score of current year is accepted.

Goa Instutute of Management only offers admission in PGDM through management quota. Therefore, you will have to fulfil its merit and even have a valid score of XAT and CAT for admission in the program.

IT/ITES was the top recruiter for PGDM, which led to 29% of the recruitments. The Engineering and Manufacturing sector led to 25% of placements. The FMCG/FMCD sector placed 6% of its students, and the consulting sector placed 3% of its students.

The Achiever's Round is a profile-based selection process for candidates with outstanding achievements in academics, sports, or professional work (e.g., national-level athletes or top-ranked university graduates).

Candidates who are applying for the IDA programme must submit a 'Statement of Purpose. They must have at least scored 50% aggregate in a Bachelor's Degree and taken either XAT 2026 or CAT 2025. Students can also apply via the GMAT score.  The GMAT code for GIM is 6VN-62-51 as mentioned on the official website.

GIM PGDM (Part time) involves the percentage basis selection criteria. 30% weightage is given to work experience, 30% weightage is given to past academic records, 30% weightage is given to face-to-face evaluation and 10% weightage is given to composite diversity index.

There is no work experience required for admission to GIM Goa PGDM program. Do note that the institute gives weightage to work experience during evaluation. This is as per the institute's policy. Even freshers are allowed to apply.

General category students who have scored at least 50% are eligible for admission in GIM Goa PGDM courses. For SC/ST category, scoring at least 45% is must for admission. Along with that scores of either XAT or CAT exam are must for admission.
