Given below is the minimum qualification for admission to the BDes and Integrated MDes programmes at GLS Institute of Design:
- The candidate must have passed class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate.
- Candidates should appear for the Design Aptitude Test conducted by the GLS Institute of Design based on which candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round.
- On successful qualification of the PI round, candidates will be selected for the final seat allotment.

BDes: GLS Institute of Design offers a four-year full-time Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme across four specialisations, i.e. Product Design, environmental design, Fashion Design, and Communication Design.
Integrated MDes: GLS Institute also offers an Integrated MDes programme which is a combination of both BDes and MDes programmes. The said programme is also offered in four specialisations just like BDes.

The application fee for admission to the courses offered at GLS Institute of Design is INR 2,000. Candidates are required to pay the aforementioned application fee for final submission. Candidates will have to appear in the Design Aptitude Test and Personal Interview (PI) round based on which the final shortlisting is done after which the institute will provide the offer letter to the selected candidates.
