There is no fixed GMAT score required for admission in the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. However,650 and above is the most safe score to be considered by the admission committee. Apart from the GMAT scores, other factors that play a major role in admission include  years of work experience (two to three years), proficiency in English language, quality of the essays, letter of recommendations, references, and in-person interviews collectively decide the admission decision.

Get money for college. High scores can get you scholarships. You can ask for lower tuition fees. Put the score on your CV too. Some finance jobs ask for it.

For IIM Ahmedabad's MBA-PGPX program, applicants are advised to target a GMAT score of 690 or more. The incoming class has an average GMAT score ranging from 690 to 697. The range usually falls between 600 and 800. While there is no cutoff, it is advisable to score in the 70th to 75th percentile for improvement in your application. On top of this, they should have at least four years of full-time work experience and even comply with minimum eligibility conditions.

GMAT scores are valid for five years for MBA admissions at institutions and universities abroad. This means that candidates can use their GMAT scores for up to five years from the date of the test for their application process.

Generally, a good GMAT score is between 700 and 740, and a score of 750+ is an excellent score. The average GMAT score for the top 10 business schools in the US in 2022 is 724, which sits close to 95th percentile. Similarly, the average score for the top business schools in Europe is 680, ranging between 640-710.The GMAT exam awards you a score out of 800. Generally, a good GMAT score is between 700 and 740, and a score of 750+ is an excellent score

Yes, based on the latest GMAT score scale, a score of 645 is equivalent to a score of 700 on the previous GMAT scale. The percentile score being 87.7%. The score pf 645 is the new 700 because the GMAT score scale has upgraded. Initially the GMAT was scored on a scale of 200-800 for its 10th Edition. But for the 11th Edition the GMAT score scale has upgraded to 205-805. This is the reason why, the 645 is the new 700 on GMAT 11th Edition.

International students must submit a valid GMAT score for London Business School admission and be eligible for scholarships. The minimum score required for LBS scholarships is usually around 600. Students can also submit a GRE score, which is around of over 160 for both verbal and quantitative sections. Check the other London Business School requirements to get eligible for scholarships:

  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • English Language Proficiency Proof
  • GMAT/GRE score
