No, there is no provision from the GNVS college to get direct admission in the MMS course with is equivalent to the PGDM course as per the college website. The admission is subject to fulfilment of the set eligibility criteria. The college is allotted on the basis of the score obtined in the entrane exam.

To be eligible for admission to MBA course at GNVS Institute of Management, the candidate has to score a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation in a relevant stream from any recognised university. Eligible students will have to appear MAH MBA CET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.
The candidates seeking admission to GNVS Institute of Management, Mumbai must apply online, through the DTE Maharashtra portal (June to July 2025), by paying around INR 1,000 and submitting relevant documents such as marksheets, entrance marks, and category certificate. The GNVS Institute has 120-student capacity per year in its equivalent MBA really MMS programme. This figure is fixed because the institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, plus it is approved by AICTE, thus maintaining the credibility of student ratios to the teacher.
This exact figure varies slightly due to changes in rules or with extra seats in the management quota but 120 are the normal sanctioned strength. This ensures that the institute maintains quality education and placement support to a large number of students in their pursuit of management studies in a competitive urban market such as Mumbai.

The MAT cut off for GNVS Institute of Management in 2023 was usually between 80 to 85 percentile in the MMS. It varies slightly according to the applicant pool, reservation categories, and seat availability.
A general category candidate had to possess a score nearer to 85 while an open category could find the cutoff somewhere near 75-80. Inclusion of MAT results would also be along with those obtained from other tests like CAT or MAH-CET. Group discussions, as well as interviews, are also part of the yards to select a candidate.
