The College gives Merit-Based as well as Entrance Test Based Admissions. For all the undergraduate degree courses, the admissions are given on a merit basis. In postgraduate degree courses, students can get admissions based on merit, and based on merit + entrance.

GGDSD college offers a 3 year undergraduate B.A. (General) programme for which admission is based on Intermediate merit. After college provides Economics Honours 2 year programme for which you have atleast 50% marks in Economics in B.A. 1st year and overall admission is based on merit. So Maths is not compulsory for B.A. Economics at this college.

Hello Deendayal, you can pursue M.Sc. in Bioinformatics at Goswami Dutta. S.D. College based on your degree merit, there should be a minimum requirement of 50% at UG (bachelor's degrees in science stream) from a recognized college.
