In B.Tech, Government college of engineering amravati (GCOEA) has got the 102 rank out of 170 in India as per the 2023 surveys. Placements in this college is good and also offers internships to the students.The college infrastructure and environment is too good including greenery. The cultural and sports events was conduct excellently by the management. Most of the students feels that their is no friendly environment for both boys and girls. Canteen facilities are not up to the mark and hostel facilities was good. Maintenance charges were affordable by the students.

Government college of amravati charges around 2.5 L for 4 years irrespective of the courses. Where Government college of nagpur charges only 1.16 L for four years. Amravati college was expensive but not too expensive as compared to the government college of nagpur. Amravati college was established in 1964 where the college faculty have lots of experience as compared to nagpur engineering college.most of the students were placed from this college.Both colleges were approved by AICTE but amravati college offers 27 courses where nagpur offers only 8 courses, it's one of the reasons why the amravati college is expensive.
