GCOE? Jalgaon has a mix of qualified, experienced permanent faculty (many Ph.D./M.Tech) who are supportive and knowledgeable, especially in core branches. Student ratings hover around 3.5–3.9/5. However, some contract teachers lack enthusiasm and teaching quality varies.

To apply for B.E./B.Tech at GCOE? Jalgaon:

  1. Qualify 10+2 (PCM) with min. 45% (40% for reserved) and take MHT-CET (or JEE Main for OMS)
  2.  Register online for MHT-CET and DTE? CAP counselling .

3. After CET results, upload documents, verify at facilitation centre .

4. Participate in CAP rounds (state quota and institute? level), download allotment letter.

5. Report to Admission Reporting Centre, then to GCOE Jalgaon with documents and fees.

Admission to GCOE? Jalgaon can be somewhat competitive, especially for popular branches like Computer Engineering—cutoffs for CSE often fall around the 84–92 percentile in the MHT? CET 2024 CAP rounds . Less in-demand branches like Instrumentation or Mechanical may close around the 50?70 percentile .

Admission for B.E./B. Tech at GCOE Jalgaon is not currently open, as the previous spot rounds concluded in October 2024. The next phase—MHT CET 2025 CAP counselling (via DTE Maharashtra)—runs approximately June–July 2025, and admission opens thereafter.

The MHT CET 2024 results for both the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) groups were officially declared on June 16, 2024, at 6 PM IST. 

These results are applicable to all participating institutions, including Government College of Engineering, Jalgaon. The college does not have a separate result date; it follows the state-wide schedule set by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell.

Eligibility Criteria

General Category: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and one of the optional subjects.

Reserved Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate marks. You have to write the entrance exams for the entrance exams like JEE Mains or the college entrance exams.
