No, you can't join the Government College of Engineering, Ratnagiri, without an entrance examination. The college offers BTech at the undergraduate level. Admission to the course is purely entrance-based. Hence, students must ensure that they appear for he accepted exam i.e., MHT CET and secure a non-zero positive score in the same. Though the college admits students directly in the second year through the lateral entry, the process is still carried out via CAP.

No, you can't join the Government College of Engineering, Ratnagiri directly. Since it is a government college and strictly follows the guidelines of the  Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the CET Cell, Maharashtra, there is no provision for direct admissions for first-year admissions. However, students with a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology may apply for lateral entry to the BTech second year via CAP.
