IIIT Lucknow was established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with the financial contributions of MHRD, the Gov. of India, the Gov. of Uttar Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Ltd. The fee for the available courses is not very high as it is not a private college.

Yes, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College offers placements annually to its BSc, BCom, BCA and BBA students. According to media report, 1 companies participated during the placement drive 2026 and presented over 400 jobs to students. The the highest package offered was INR 12 LPA.

IIT Madras is a government college which was established in as an 'Institute of Eminence'. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Chennai IIT Madras or IITM) was established in 1959. Being a government college, the fee for various courses is not very high.
