Direct admission to Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology, ACGET, for the B.E. / B.Tech course is not possible without the admission process. The admissions are merit-based through the TNEA system, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. For this, the candidates need to have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The students also have to apply and join the TNEA counseling procedure for seat allocation.

No, you cannot get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology without having completed the Tamil Nadu 12th standard (or an equivalent qualification). Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
