Answer is yes, but that is only one step. You have to clear the JEE Exam to get Admission in top engineering institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs . Almost Every Govt. Engineering College check your JEE Score for your admission. Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023 are eligible to appear in JEE .

Yes, JEE is required for B.Tech at Government College of Engineering (GCE). GCE accepts scores from JEE Main and JEE Advanced for admission to B.Tech programs.

GCE gives priority to JEE Advanced scores over JEE Main scores for admission to B.Tech programs. However, if the number of students who have qualified JEE Advanced is less than the number of seats available, GCE will consider JEE Main scores for admission.

The weightage given to JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores for admission to B.Tech programs at GCE is as follows:

Mostly all government colleges has only two number of seats allocated per classroom 1). 75 2).150 . Mostly general branches has 150 seats and core branches has 75 . So it depends on the specific field you choose.

No, you cannot join Government College of Engineering in Aurangabad directly without meeting the eligibility criteria and going through the admission process. Admission to the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad is primarily entrance and merit-based. Candidates must be qualified in Class 12 with required aggregate marks and must obtain a valid score in MHT-CET Entrance Exam. The college also accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech programs.
