GRE

The Graduate Record Examinations is a standardized test that is administered by Educational Testing Service and is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in the United States. The GRE measures the overall academic readiness of a candidate wanting to attend graduate school. The GRE Exam is conducted around the year, and candidates can appear for the GRE General Test at their convenience. The test is usually a computer-based test in India at a GRE-designated test center. GRE scores are valid for a period of five years from the day of the exam. Let's say a candidate who has taken the GRE exam on April 3, 2022, can report their scores until April 2, 2027. There are no specific GRE eligibility criteria as prescribed by ETS. Anyone can register for this GRE exam, irrespective of age or qualifications. Also, starting from July 1, 2021, candidates can use their Aadhar Card as part of their identity proof during the GRE registration process. The application fee for the GRE General Test is $213 (INR 15,912) for Indian students ($1 = Rs 74.70). The GRE Paper consists of the following three sections:
Analytical Writing
Verbal Reasoning
Quantitative Reasoning
