Candidates must carry the following documents for GNDU GMET counselling:
- Original & Photocopy of 10th & 12th class merit certificate
- Community certificate signed by an authorized authority
- All medical documents mentioned in the application form
- Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other)
- Domicile Certificate
- Identity Proof
- five to seven Passport size colored photographs
- Original and photocopy of admit card.

The University will release a merit list of candidates selected for the counselling round on its official website soon after the declaration of GNDU GMET result. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear at the university main campus for interview rounds along with the required documents. Candidates must report at the alloted date and time, failing which candidate's request for change in date and time will not be entertained.

The GNDU GMET 2026 counselling is conducted at the University campus. The candidates have to be personally present for GD/PI and verification of documents. GNDU GMET 2026 counselling is expected to be held in July 2026. The details for GNDU GMET 2026 counselling will be released tentatively in first week of July 2026.
