Eligibility criteria for the D.Pharma course offered by Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (GNIPST):
Academic Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any Indian board.
The combination of subjects must include three out of four: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
General merit: The general merit may be in the range of 45% aggregate and above.
Candidates, who fulfill all the above criteria, can directly apply on the official website of GNIPST and attend counseling as directed by the institute.

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology does not offer the MPharma course. The college offers only the DPharma course. To be eligible for the course, the candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th in a relevant stream from any recognised board.

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology is generally a Tier 2 college. But pharmacy education is always special and well known for its approval by both AICTE and PCI. It has a fair placement record and offers several programs; however, it is nowhere close to the Tier 1 level in terms of national acceptance or facilities available. Usually, it would consist of well-established institutions that allow for broader learning curriculums alongside better scores on national scores.
GNIPST is, however, a very respectable alternative for students interested in the pharmaceutical sciences and falls under Tier 2 institutions

GNIPST has a particular refund policy on charges. The chief highlights include:
Application Fee: There is no refund on the application fee paid.
Tuition and Other Charges: Once paid, the institute has a rule that the said charges cannot be refunded. Among the charges include tuition.
Caution Deposit: This caution deposit is refundable when the course is completed, after finalization of all the dues.

GNIPST has a very good placement record. In the placement drive of 2023, 120 students have been placed with a median salary ranging from INR 3.51 LPA to INR 4.21 LPA. The highest package deal was around INR 7.25 LPA. The Training and Placement Cell of the institute makes recruitment easy for the visiting companies, such as Cipla, Abbott, and Apollo Pharmacy. Also, students are benefited by acquiring valuable experience through internships and industrial trainings. In this way, students become more employable. Overall, it is regarded as a good pharmacy college for students who would like to be placed in the industry.
