Excellent placement is available at the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management in Chandigarh. The college has a specific placement cell that arranges on-campus interviews, professional development opportunities, and career counseling for the students. Numerous reputable national and international hotel chains, including Taj, ITC, Hilton, Radisson, Marriott etc., have partnerships with the college. The students are exposed to a variety of hospitality-related topics and are given many chances to demonstrate their abilities.

You must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to Chandigarh's Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management:

  • You need to have obtained a passing grade in 10+2 with English as a required subject from a recognised higher secondary board.
  • You have to clear the NCHM Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMJEE) and achieve a high rank.
  • You must participate in the NCHMCT's counseling session and choose IHM Chandigarh as your preferred institution

No, you can join the Institute of Hotel Management Hyderabad directly. You are provided with admission based upon marks scored in National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination; qualify yourself for NCHMCT JEE; thus, you must appear to take admission in IHM Hyderabad.

To be eligible for the B.Sc. (Hospitality Management) course at the Institute of Hotel Management Hyderabad, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, English must have been a subject of study in the qualifying examination.

Admission to this institute is entrance as well as merit-based. IHM Hyderabad accepts NCHMCT JEE and NCHMCT MSc JEE score for admission to BSc and MSc course, respectively.
