The mode of Hansraj College admission are online and offline. Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. Students willing to appear for admission to various courses will be required to pass the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUET stands for Central University Entrance Test. It is an all-India level entrance examination that is conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate courses offered in all of the participating institutions.

There is no particular dress code at Hans Raj College. Students can wear whatever they want but the clothing must be decent. The college gives freedom to students to wear according to their own choice and willingness. Girls are free to wear a saree, suit, jeans, or whatever they like to wear.

The most important tip for students taking admission in the first year at Hands Raj College must be self-confidence. One should always be very confident in nature and try to communicate as much as possible. Going from school to college the gap is too large and all the students have some kind of shyness, hesitation, or introversion, which is very common among the new students. But students should never lose hope, it will take some time to make friends and also to settle into a new college environment but with time students will be able to adapt and have some great friends. Hansraj College offers full-time UG courses in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce.Students who want to get admission to Hansraj College must apply online as Delhi University considers the only online mode of application since Covid times. Marks needed for M.Com or in all subject 55 % above marks should be there .
