There are abput 200+ BTech colleges in Haryana. Of these, 170 are private colleges, 28 are government colleges and public-private entities own 4 colleges. JEE Main is the most accepting entrance and admission will be done on HSTES counselling basis.
The top colleges are NIT Kurukshetra, Amity University Gurugram, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, NIFTEM, The NorthCap University, J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, etc.

Yes, students from any state in India can apply. The university accepts students accnationwide. Some courses may follow state reservation policies that offer certain seats to Haryana residents.
This does not change basic eligibility but may affect how seats are distributed. All students must meet academic requirements and follow admission rules. The CCSHAU selection is based on merit and defined criteria.

The BTech placement stats have not been released on the official website. However, the NIRF report 2025 for Engineering is out, which incorporates the 2024 placement data for BTech. As per the report, 178 out of 196 students were placed during SRM University Sonepat BTech placements 2024. The median package offered during placements 2024 for BTech was INR 5.50 LPA.
