Yes, you can apply for the college if you fulfill the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility:
For pursuing a nutrition course, you must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Home Science or Nutrition or Dietetics or Food Science or Biology or Microbiology or Clinical Biochemistry or Life Sciences or BNYS (Naturopathy) or BAMS (Ayurveda) or PG Diploma in Dietetics with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Your query is not clear. But any course can be pursued on the basis of 12th class. I would suggest pursuing a Bachelors in Nutrition.

In which stream you did your B.Tech? If it is Biotechnology, then you can go for M.Sc in Food and Nutrition. Just have a look which universities offer this course Pondicherry University is having M.Sc in food and nutrition.

Sorry to say, but no till now Nagpur University and colleges under it does not offer this course.

Nutritionists or dieticians can build a career in the following sectors:
1. R&D (Research and development).
2. Healthcare sector (Hospitals, clinics, health centers, etc.)
3. Government schemes and organizations.
4. NGOs.
5. Teaching and education sector. To build a career in the R&D sector, qualifications like M.Phil and Ph.D. will be of use. M.Sc. M.Phil and Ph.D. qualifications will also enable one to take up the job post of a lecturer or instructor.

You are not eligible for B.Sc Food Nutrition, as you must have had Biology or Chemistry in class 12th. You can pursue Home Science, and can later choose Nutrition for Post-Graduation.
