Yes, of course, you need to focus mainly on NCERT books and along with that, you need to do constant practice of questions as practice is the key to qualify NEET. Also, along with it, go through the previous years question papers to get an insight into the NEET exam.

I'd like to congratulate you. You are already ahead of many of your competitors by starting in 12th. A few things you should know beforehand –
The competition is VERY high. You have to be in the top 99.5 percentile to get into a government college. If you're like most people, you wouldn't want to take a drop, so I'd suggest that you keep a backup plan. Prepare well for boards too. You should start off by knowing about the exam and it's marking scheme first. 180 questions, +4 for every right answer, -1 for every wrong answer.
Total marks: 720. You should aim for 600+. It has 45 questions of physics and chemistry each, and 90 questions
