The selection criteria is primarily entrance-based. The university conducts the Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University Entrance Examination (MAHGEE/MAHGUEE) to shortlist candidates for the following selection rounds. Candidates with valid CAT/MAT scores (current year) can also apply. The entrance exam is followed by a Group Discussion and an interview.
