Hindusthan College of Arts and Science [HICAS] Courses

HICAS Coimbatore offers three-year BSc courses. Further, the course is divided into six semesters, and each semester contains six months. The college offers several specialisations in the BSc course, such as  Computer Science, Costume Design and Fashion,  Animation and Visual Effects, Visual Communication, Information Technology, etc.. Moreover, the eligibility requirements and selection process for admission to any of the offered BSc specialisations at HICAS Coimbatore are similar. 

HICAS BSc curriculum is spread across six semesters over the period of three-year. Hence, HICAS BSc syllabus includes MIL, AECC, DSC, SEC, GE, AEE and various online subjects. The institute follows CBCS and LOCF pattern. At the end of every semester, students are required to go for extension activities, aptitude training, internship/ industrial visit/ mini project. HICAS BCom course duration is three-year spread across six semesters for all the specialisations. Hence, HICAS BCom curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. Throughout the course of the programme, students are required to study Modern Indian Langusge, Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course, Discipline Specific Course, Generic Elective, AEE and value-added subjects. HICAS BCom syllabus varies according to the specialisation selected by candidates. At the end of the second semester of HICAS BCom, students are required to go for Internship/ Industrial Visit or Mini project for some specialisations.  

Candidates pursuing BCom at HICAS must go through the rigorous course curriculum of the programme.
