Hofstra University expects a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4 scale. As per the class of 2027, 95% of the students scored a minimum GPA of 3 or higher. International students must aim to score a GPA of 3 or higher to be considered at Hofstra. Along with the GPA, students can submit the ACT or SAT scores (the university provides test options) to make a positive impact on their resume. The minimum score required is between 26 and 31 on the ACT and between 1230 and 1410 on the SAT.
