The precise seat intake for the B.A. (Hons.) English programme at Jindal School of Languages and Literature (JSLL) is typically not disclosed due to its confidential nature within universities. However, JSLL is recognised for maintaining smaller class sizes, ensuring a more personalized and interactive learning experience for students. Yes, Manipal Institute of communication is a good option to pursue M.A. There are two specialities available in this course:-

  1. MA in media and communication.
  2. MA in film art and film making.

Both these specialities have a good scope in future and students can make a good career in those field. The salary package offered in this course is also good. The median salary which was offered for this course was 7LPA. So choosing MA from this Institute will not be a bad idea for any students, seeing all other factors like faculty, infrastructure etc.

Gaining direct admission to Jindal School of Languages and Literature (JSLL) hinges on the specific programme level—undergraduate or postgraduate. For undergraduate programs, a 10+2 passing certificate with a minimum of 60% for Arts & Humanities and 70% for other streams is the baseline requirement. While direct admission is possible, excelling in recognised entrance exams like CUET or SAT can significantly enhance your application, considering JSLL's evolving reliance on CUET scores.

For postgraduate programs, a minimum 60% aggregate in a recognised Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Similarly, scoring well in relevant entranc

Jindal School of Languages and Literature doesn't rely on a single minimum score for B.A. admissions. Instead, they take a holistic approach, considering multiple factors including entrance exams, academic record, personal writing, and interviews. This ensures they select well-rounded individuals with genuine passion for languages and literature, rather than simply relying on one standardized test. So, focus on excelling in all these areas to enhance your chances!

A 60% in Class 12th requires extra effort for Jindal School of Languages and Literature's B.A. admission, but the door isn't closed. Ace the CUET/JSAT, especially language and critical thinking sections. Show academic improvement, particularly in subjects like English and literature. Craft a passionate statement of purpose explaining your future goals and any reasons for lower 12th marks. Finally, impress in the interview with clear communication and critical thinking. By focusing on these areas, you can turn your passion for language into a reality at JSLL. Good luck!
