Netaji Subhas Open University offers an MA in History through the School of Social Sciences. The course is spread over a minimum duration of two years and can be completed up to five years. The eligibility criteria are different for students from the CBCS and non-CBCS categories.
For Non CBCS: Candidates, who have a graduation degree (10+2+3) and have scored at least 300 marks in History, are eligible to apply for the programme.
For CBCS: Candidates, who have a graduation degree (10+2+3) with Core Course (CC/Discipline Specific Elective (DSE)/ Equivalent in History, are eligible to pursue the programme.

As from various media reports, Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, O.P. Jindal Global University has not released its placement report for the batch passing out in 2023. The latest cutoff information for BA at IIHM Kolkata is not yet available. However, admission is open to all courses for the academic year 2023-24, and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official college website. IIHM eCHAT results are out, and the next eCHAT exam will be held on Dec 16. IIHM Kolkata offers admission to BA through an entrance exam that is conducted only for IIHM. Currently, the applications are ongoing for eCHAT, and interested candidates can apply for the exam before passing the deadline
