Placements in B.A. The students of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College are relatively good and every year about 10-15% of the students get placement. The internship cell of the university plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between students and potential employers. This facilitates recruitment where companies like EY and KPMG offer various roles such as expert, research analyst, consultant and more. Internships at College of Jesus and Mary B.A. students are considered good and around 40-50% students are placed in top companies through placement cell. The average package offered is 7.8 INR LPA and the highest package offered is 21 INR LPA. Jesus and Mary College placement cell has been facilitating recruitment since 1998 and more than 100 reputed international companies, banks and other companies have recruited students from the college. Some of the top recruiters include Deloitte, Accenture, Ernst and Young, KPMG, Bain, Wipro, ICICI Bank, PWC, Cvent, Tata Consultancy Services, Macquarie, Teach for India and The Oberoi. The Kerala SET exam is not compulsory for pursuing a Ph.D. in Kerala. However, it is important to note that many universities and research institutions in India consider Kerala SET or similar exams such as UGC NET & CSIR NET as a qualifying criteria for admission to their Ph.D. programs. In addition, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has made it mandatory for Ph.D. candidates to have qualified in the Kerala SET or similar exam to be eligible for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) during their Ph.D. programme. Therefore, while qualifying the Kerala SET exam is not mandatory for pursuing a Ph.D. it can be beneficial for candidates who wish to pursue research as a career, as it can increase their chances of getting admission to top universities and research institutions. Additionally, qualifying the Kerala SET exam can also make candidates eligible for various fellowship programs offered by the government of India to support their research.

First of all the B.A is an undergraduation course after 10+2. The admissions for the B.A courses is  based on the score of the previous exams (10+2) and along with the score achieved in the entrance exam conducted by University.
