To get a seat in B.A at IIHM, Kolkata, students should qualify for the exam that is conducted by this institute. It is entrance-based and students' performance in the exam is seen and accordingly, they select. Coming to the number of students, there is no information about seats officially and but according to the information from people working there is that the intake is 60 students. Pursuing the B.A degree in this institute, students must have a 50 percent score in 10+2.

IIHM Kolkata, this institute offers a three year course of B.A with overall two specialisations. This institute conductes IIHM eCHAT exam and based on the performance of the students in the exam the selection criteria is done. This institute had recorded the 90 percent placements. They also have very good top recruiters with international placements. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.A at TMBU is that one should have more than 45% in the previous exams (10+2) and also by the time of admission students must complete his/her 17 years. The student must complete his intermediate in the subjects are English, History, Hindi, Journalism, Psychology along with two optional subjects.  And in each subject one should have more than 35%. Along with this students also secure more than 45% marks in the entrance exam conducted by the university. The test is purely based on the subjects of your intermediate and knowledge in the arts department.
