The BA (Hons.) Political Science at LPU is a three-year, six semester undergraduate programme covering core areas such as political theory, Indian government, Western thought, comparative politics, public administration, international relations and contemporary issues. Students also engage in electives like research methodology, gender studies, conflict resolution and internships. The course is structured to develop analytical, communication and critical thinking skills, with exposure to seminars, guest lectures and field projects. Admission requires at least 50–60% in class 12 and may include LPUNEST. Placements average 5–7 LPA, with internships in NGOs, think tanks, media and civil service prep support.
