The admissions in IIMs are based on percentile obtained in Common Admission test (A Management Entrance Test). You can do any of them as both are good options. Or you can do differ from this is that you can do PG Diploma in guidance and counselling along with MBA. As per the rule we can do one degree course and one Diploma course at the same time. There are many universities which provide this course in both mode regular as well as distance mode. This combination will give you opportunity in both field.
