Try to solve previous year problems and also give some online tests as well to improve your performance. Focus on the basics. As in any entrance exam 45% questions are from easy category. So keep calm in the exams. Try solve all the questions, which you know, first. Best of luck.

You'll have to register through VTU as MS is not a university, and get a guide from MSRIT, check for the forms in VTU. They have released it on their official website.

Bachelor with exceptional grades or Master's degree, most colleges have both but some needs Masters degree
other then that research curiosity, not necessarily experience but enthusiasm in the area will surely help.

It's given for exceptional work in any area as a respect, like SRK and Bill Gates gets, it's not something most people can get, you have to apply research publish and get it.
