BA is one of the oldest, traditional undergraduate level courses available in India. This programme focuses on non-technological subjects. BA lasts for a period of 3 years. Based on the course content, BA in India can be classified into two types.
They are:
1. General BA Programme
2. BA Specialisation programs.
General BA is a traditional academic programme. This course focuses on traditional subjects related to arts stream and few elective subjects. BA specialisation programs, on the other hand, focus on a particular niche/domain/discipline.
