A candidate must possess Post-graduate Degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognized University. A candidate who has appeared at a qualifying examination, the passing of which shall render him/ her eligible to appear at the IES Examination, but has not been informed of the result, can also apply for admission to the examination.

At under graduate level, you can do the following courses:
BA (Economics)
BA (Hons) (Economics)
B.Sc. (Economics)
B.Sc. (Hons) (Economics)
BA (Business Economics)
BA (Developmental Economics).

Admission is through counselling based on the score obtained in Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET).

MA English is offered as a full-time course in Rabindra Bharati University. You can search for other colleges offering correspondence course.

The dates for the entrance are not announced yet. Please keep a track of the official website for the same.

You can work in colleges or schools as a teacher. You can earn a hefty sum if you choose a permanent job in a coaching centre or can open tutorials.

Yes, you can get admission. The Mmnimum eligibility is to score 40% marks in class 12th.

Hi Sandip, apart from having a very good academic record, you have to take the GRE and TOEFL and have a very strong all-rounded profile. These are some of the top ranked universities and very difficult to get into. There is no single way to get admission.
