Well, it depends. If you are applying to central universities or other private universities that have made CUET PG mandatory, you must appear for the CUET. Otherwise, you don't need to appear. Some colleges include Assam University, Manipur University, and Mizoram University, among others.

My Suggestion is to appear for CUET, so you can also apply to most universities that accept CUET.

IIT Khargapur JAM cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various PG courses. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. For admission to MSc+PhD in Physics, the cutoff in respect to the General All India category candidates was closed at 280. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff for the same course was closed at 686. For SC AI category candidates, the cutoff was closed at 1351. 

Yes, it is possible to get admission to IIT Bhilai for MSc+PhD in Mathematics with a rank of 250 in IIT JAM for candidates belonging to the General AI category. Round 4 of the cutoff list has been released and the cutoff rank for admission to MSc+PhD in Mathematics was closed at 589 for candidates belonging to the General AI category. For candidates belonging to the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank was closed at 765. For candidates belonging to the SC AI category, the cutoff was closed at 1742. For more categories such as ST AI and EWS AI category, getting admission to the college with this rank is possible.

Sure, a history graduate can pursue a 3 year LLB program. The Bar Council of India allows graduates from any discipline to pursue a three year LLB program. There is no age limit for pursuing a LLB degree after graduation .

CUET expected score requirement: 150–200 marks (General category) for B.A. Political Science honors. Reserved categories may not need to achieve much high scores. Overall cutoffs depend on minor variances based on specialization and competition level. Final admission results will depend on Merit list rank requirement, corresponding seat availability and reservation requirements announced by the respective university.

There are many specializations for the BA course, such as Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Sociology, English, Psychology, Philosophy, and others. Each specialisation subject has its own specialty and provides lucrative career opportunities and competitive salary packages for students.

Students should choose their BA specializations based on their interest, personal preference, course curriculum and personal career choice. 

For example, if a student wishes to lead a career as a Psychologist, Psychology is the best specialisation choice according to this condition for future growth, learning, and job prospects.

The admission criteria for the BA course are both merit-based and entrance exam-based, depending on the college admission requirements for the specific course.

Students must at least secure 50% marks in Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board of India to confirm admission to BA courses. While many BA colleges accept direct admissions based on merit, some of the top BA colleges may demand entrance exam scores for admission.
