University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ), Jaipur and Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur are just the colleges to consider in case of a PhD in Home Science with an SC category scholarship in Rajasthan. Such state universities usually have reservations and different types of scholarship, such as post-matric scholarship to SC/ST students are findable through Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. Banasthali Vidyapith is also student friendly as it offers PhD Home Science and other there are numerous scholarships available here even though it is a private university.

BHU (Banaras Hindu University) is one of the best central universities in India for BA (Hons) in Political Science. It has a strong faculty, good academic environment, and active department with seminars and discussions. Admission is through CUET, and the cut-off is usually high. BHU offers good hostel, library, and campus facilities. It's a great choice for students serious about Political Science.

If you want to do MA in English from a regular college but can't attend classes daily, you can go for distance or open universities. Some good options are IGNOU, Delhi University SOL, Bharathiar University, and Annamalai University. They offer valid UGC-approved MA degrees, and the fees are affordable too. You can study at your own pace, and the degree is accepted just like regular ones. Perfect for working people or those who can't attend regular classes.

The admissions to Pondicherry University MSW are done on the basis of CUET-PG. During the academic year 2024, the Round 1 closing grades to MSW (General Category) were 102 and in Round 2 these grades decreased to 74. The cut off in case of the OBC category was 60 in both rounds. However, anticipated cutoffs in 2025 are approximately 179 in General, but this might vary depending on the applicants to the exam and their overall results in the CUET-PG. The eligibility is a degree of Bachelor (50 per cent marks).
