Indira Gandhi National Open University admit candidates to its MA courses on a merit basis. The applications are shortlisted based on aggregate in the last qualifying exam, i.e., the bachelor's degree course. Thus, the aspirants who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria can proceed with the registration procedure. There is no entrance exam score requirement. WCC BA admission dates vary from year to year. The college starts accepting online applications for various UG courses typically in the month of May. In 2024, the application window opened on May 2, 2024. As of now, the college has released the lists of provisionally selected students for BA admission on their official website. The classes are expected to begin soon.

The admission to BA courses of WCC is merit-based. The seats are allotted to the eligible applicants based on their scores in Class 12 and their reservation category. Interested candidates have to submit their applications through the official website of the college. Once the applications are received, they will be arranged according to their merit under various categories mandated by the Tamil Nadu Government (Open category/BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST). At the time of admission, shortlisted candidates must pay the fee for the first semester of BA. Non payment of the specified fee within the stipulated time may lead to the forfeiture of the provisionally allotted seat. The WCC BA fee for the first semester varies across the specialisations. Some fields can be rectified later while filling CSAS (UG) form. However, candidates seeking admission to BA at Sri Venkateswara College DU must be careful while filling the CUET (UG) form as certain fields such as name, signature and photograph of candidates will be later auto-integrated by DU. These fields will be non-editable. Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number registered in their CUET application form are their own, as OTP will be sent by UoD through e- mail on the registered email id and/ or mobile number while registration.

Yes, you can do MBA after BA from Sri Venkateswara College DU. MBA is one of India's most adaptable postgraduate programmes as it accepts students from a variety of educational backgrounds. Sri Venkateswara College DU BA admission is entrance-based for the year 2024 as candidates seeking admission to the BA at Sri Venkateswara College DU are required to appear for the CUET. Therefore, Class 12 marks are not enough for admission to the BA and BA (Hons) programmes.
