The total number of seats available for the BA programme at Daulat Ram College is more than 1,265 for the academic session 2024. The above number consists of seats reserved for various categories in tune with the reservation policy at large issued by the government. The college continues to keep a certain percentage of seats reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, making the process of admission quite inclusive. However, the intake included under this seat is based on information from an official website or a sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence indicative in nature.

The Daulat Ram College BA syllabus follows the CUET syllabus closely so that the students are able to prepare for the entrance test as well as for the undergraduate programme quite easily. The curriculum broadly encompasses critical thinking, reasoning ability, and applicational aspects in all subjects, similar to the CUET, which measures the candidate's understanding of the core concepts and their application. The good thing about this alignment is that it allows students to use the CUET preparation for their BA studies and vice versa, creating a seamless transition that maximises their learning outcomes.

The cut-off marks for the Daulat Ram College BA result interact amongst factors ranging from the number of applicants and overall performance in CUET to the availability of seats and popularity of programmes. Category-wise reservations or past trends further modulate the competition at the time of admission. The second most important factor is the difficulty level involved in CUET, which varies the total marks, hence changing the cutoff values.
