IBS Hyderabad accepts scores from various national level entrance exams for MBA admissions like:

  • IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test)
  • CAT (Common Admission Test)
  • XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
  • NMAT by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Test)
  • GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

Selection Process:

  1. Fill out the online application form on the IBS Hyderabad website.
  2. Based on your application and entrance exam score, you might be shortlisted for the next stage.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a GD and PI to assess their communication skills, personality, and suitability for the program.

IBS Hyderabadis a private college. It is established in 1995. The college is accredited by AACSB, SAQS accredited by AMDISA and acredited with A+ Grade in NAAC. Anyone above the 75th percentile has a good chance of getting into IBS Hyderabad. However, you technically need a percentile of at least 87 to get into IBS Hyderabad.Candidates who satisfy the 85 percentile CAT cutoff and the 150 percentile NMAT score are qualified for an MBA at IBS Hyderabad, based on past year trends. IBSAT or IBS Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA programme. However, it is not compulsory to appear for IBSAT. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ XAT and scored well can also get admission to IBS Hyderabad MBA programme. 

IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December.
