All the three fields are outstanding. However, if still someone asks than I would prefer the same in the below mentioned order:
1) ICAI: A Chartered Accountant is a person who is required to audit the annual accounts of every business. He is a person whose signature is considered authentic to verify the accounts prepared by any businessman. In this scenario he can practice privately which gives him an outstanding exposure as he has to himself handle the various scenarios into different businesses of various clients. Not only this, a CA can also get into a job into any good company if he/she doesn't wish to do private practice. He can work as a COO, Financial Analyst, Budget planner, Budget Analyst, CFO, Accounts Head or any such nomenclature could be a feather in his cap.
2) ICSI: A Company Secretary is next utmost importance in the corporate world. He/She is a person who is completely knowledgeable about day to day functions of the company. He is the person who is well aware of all the corporate laws and intercessions of the business. He makes the functioning of the company efficient by coordinating at various levels and is also a medium to provide genuine and authentic information to the shareholders of the company. Any company having a paid up share capital of more than 10 crores has to deploy a full time Company Secretary. The most important about CS is it is a statutory designation. A person may begin his/her career as a Junior Secretary for the company. As his/her experience and exposure increases he/she can get promoted to a further more respectful, rewarding and responsible designation.
3) ICWAI: Nowadays, ICWAI is also a good professional qualification into the corporate world associated with the manufacturing strata of the field. A CWA, nowadays the nomenclature has changed to CMA is an important person responsible for looking into the cost of manufacturing the product. He/she is responsible to correctly estimate and calculate the appropriate cost of product for manufacture. Moreover the person is important as many companies plan their marketing strategies after getting complete details of the cost and other related information about the product from the cost accountant. Initially a person may join a firm as a Junior Cost Accountant or so. However, as the experience increases one can expect higher rewards with the advancement.
Concluding, all the jobs are excellent and have their importance in their fields. Package depends on one's experience.

Both are good and I am not being diplomatic, I mean it. Syllabus coverage of both the courses is excellent and standard of questions asked in exams are also very good. If you are looking for starting a firm then CA has more scope then CMA for now but the scope for CMA for practice is also going to increase with GST coming into action. And for various relevant job purposes both the courses are given the same weightage in most of the cases. I know many people who are holding high level positions (related to finance etc) as a proud CMA in various government companies and Multinational Corporations. I also want to add that rumour of CMA being easy is totally false. Actually it can be said it is tougher because there are 8 papers in CMA Inter but only 7 papers in CA IPCC. One more point, there are no gaps between exams in case of CMA but in case of CA, students get one day for revision before each exam. Finally I want to conclude with saying both the courses are great in their own ways, you can go for anyone of them. Hard work together with proper strategy is the key for passing and success as well.
