Yes, definitely, IBS is well known for its syllabus in finance. If you compare the syllabus of IBS in first year and even for second year finance specialization, it is very much similar to CFA intermediate and final level. Even many foreign Institutional Investors like JP Morgan Chase, Capgemini, Bank of America - Myrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley visits IBS for final placements. Other good finance companies which visits IBS are Deloitte, Crisil, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI securities for multiple profiles, Kotak securities, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Transparent Value, Seimens, and lot more.

The college is very good for education. The college is well know for its case study methodology and has designed a very good syllabus for first year and even for second year based on your specialisation that is HR, Marketing and Finance. No other B School in the town give 3 months summer internship training except for IBS Mumbai. The students are well groomed and trained during their summer internship under strict guidance of faculty guide and company guide. Placement for operations and IT both minor specialisation is pretty good. Few companies like Amazon India, Berger paints, TCS IT, TCS BPS, Asian paints, smollan group which is a si

The eligibility criteria to sit for placements are 60 percent and above throughout (10, 12 and graduation) . Even your percentile scores that is CGPA which you will score during your first year MBA and Summer Internship should be above average which is very easy to score even in the cut throat competition as MBA is not so difficult to pursue . It is just a myth that people find MBA difficult .

Not necessary, only in case of few selected companies . Trust me more than 150 companies visit IBS Mumbai every year for campus recruitment which includes likes of Neilsen, ITC hotels - some for internship like Amul, ACC, Deutsche bank, and so on. 53 percent will definitely not become a hurdle for you to get placed. Not all the companies sets such criteria such as 60 percent and above throughout. You definitely have great chances of getting placed in a good company like Zeta Directi which demands for 70 percent and above in 10 th only. 53 percent is not all hurdle for you. I hope you don't have any academic gaps in your education .

These percentages won't effect your internship but your 12th percentage that is below 60 may effect your chances of sitting for few good companies like Nestle and ITC Hotels. Nestle demands 50 percent and above in 10th, 12th and Graduation and there should be no academic gaps from 10th to graduation, not even a single year, and the percentage should not be even 49.9, though you fit into the criteria of Nestle if you don't have any academic gaps. ITC hotels demands 65 percent and above throughout.

The placements assistance is decent. Although, I strongly recommend only IBS - Hyderabad as it is well known for its lucrative opportunities.
