I can't comment about other colleges but i can brief you about IBA Bangalore.
Our college is approved by AICTE and has got international accreditation for PGDM programme.
It is affiliated to Mysore University for MBA programme.
The faculty here holds at least a decade of experience and are USP of the college.

I would 5 out of 5 stars. Yes they do offer nice placements and that too 100% placements guaranteed. I myself is studying in IBS Mumbai and I truly agree to the point that they offer nice placements and not just that they also groom individuals to the fullest to be successful future managers.

UPES dehradun you can give first preference and then second one is XISS .

If your looking out for energy companies, UPES will provide you vest opportunity. Secondly, Xiss has one of the best opportunity for HR stream. IBS munbai is average and totally depends on your caliber as to how you perform.

Hiii Tushar. IBS Mumbai is good and well know for PGPM in finance as all the big financial intermediaries and banks visit IBS at the time of Final Placements . Some of the corporate entities like CRISIL, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Bank Of America visit IBS at time of final placements. Average package for finance is 7 lakhs. PGPM is different from PGDM because PGPM is a certificate course which offers a Program in Management whereas PGDM is a diploma in Business Management.

IBS Mumbai is approved by AICTE. Companies do not accept college degrees which are not approved by AICTE

Placements at IBS is good. All the big corporate brands come in IBS for placements like JP Morgan Chase, CRISIL, Deloitte, HDFC BANK, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, Reckitt Benckiser (Dettol), ITC hotels, landmark group, Satguru travels and so on . Highest package is of 12 lakhs and lowest package is of 4.5 lakhs based on the academics of an individual throughout his academic life .

It is an average college.IBS Mumbai is not aicte approved so take admission only if you don't have any other options.

Yes, it is worth . It is better you visit the campus, meet the faculty, meet the alumni (passed outs) from IBS Mumbai and placement cell then decide. You are the decision making authority, you have every right to select and work hard for your dream MBA institute . I would still say give IBS Mumbai a try just by visiting the campus, faculty and placement cell and then decide whether you want to join or not .
