Only if you are a final year student. Yes, Any engineering. Graduate ( Passout / Final year Appearing ) is eligible to appear for IES examination. You, however, need to produce the required documents of the qualifying exam as and when asked by the UPSC commission before the final selection. IES is all about maintaining accuracy with speed as you have to attempt 150 questions in 180 minutes in technical and 100 questions in 120 minutes in non tech. Thus, test series plays a very important role, so you should not ignore the part tests and subject test initially. Give the test of a particular subject just after completing that one. Attempting test will not be beneficial if you don't analyze it and bookmark important ones. Just follow a simple pattern in your study that you have to complete a particular subject in particular time (eg.15-20 days) and then you have to give the test and analyze the performance.
