With 70% tile in JEE Mains and belonging to SC category getting into top NITs or GFTIS for CSE is unlikely however there is a possibility of getting a seat in some NITs or GFTIs with lower cutoffs through cseb special counselling or through other state level or private engineering colleges.

Yes, you can get NITs which have lower cutoffs but it would be very difficult to get admission in Top NITs and IIITs, as you belong to SC category so there may be chance you'll get an IIIT with less demanding and popular specialisation like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. With 70 percentile you can get NITs like NIT Patna, NIT Durgapur, NIT Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland. Although there are Government Funded Technology Institutes GFTI which offers admission at low percentiles.

A rank of 3.85 Lacs in general catagory is generally too low for admission to IIITs through JEE Main counseling based on recent 2025 cutoffs trends.

No, you can not get into NIT or IIIT or GFTI with 346529 rank in JEE in EWS Category. You can search for other private colleges and state government colleges based on 12th score card or direct admissions in your state or other state.

No, you can not get into CSE/IT/ENTC in NIT/IIIT or GIFT with a CRL of 273071 and an OBC rank of 95501 in JEE Mains. You can check for other private colleges and state engineering colleges with other means.

With 66.1357 percentile and an AIR of 505570 in the general category, getting admission into any IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology) through JoSAA Counselling is highly unlikely. Here's a detailed explanation
IIITs have very high cutoffs, especially for General category students. Typically, General category closing ranks for IIITs go up to 40,000–70,000 AIR (approx), depending on:
The branch (CSE being most competitive)
The IIIT's location and popularity
Your rank (505570) is far beyond these cutoffs.
