IILM BA admissions are done based on marks obtained by applicants in Higher Secondary Examination. The university admission process begins with the Application stage. In this stage, interested students must apply for their preferred course by visiting the official website of the university. Once the application portal is closed, university’s admission committee shortlists students based on their performance in Class 12, extracurricular participation, SOP.

The shortlisted applicants are further called for a personal interview at the university. These students must also carry important documents such as education qualification certificates, identity proof, address proof and such for verification purposes. Upon successful verification, students are required to pay the prescribed fees to secure their admission at IILM University.

Admissions to BA courses at IILM University are based on students’ overall performance in Class 12. The university reviews candidate application based on various factors such as marks obtained in Class 12, participation in co-curricular activities throughout the school life, critical thinking skills and more. All these parameters are taken in to consideration to ensure the right students are selected.

Moreover, the SOP that is submitted at the time of filling the application form plays a vital role in securing admission at IILM University. The SOP should contain the purpose of student wanting to join the university and how is the student a right fit for the course and the university. IILM University accepts student applications under the lateral entry/migration scheme for various undergraduate programmes including BA courses. Under this scheme, a student can migrate from another university in India, as well as abroad with a partially completed programme and complete the remaining programme at IILM University in order to complete the degree. Application of students interested in migrating to IILM university from overseas education system or the UGC/ AICTE approved curriculum, shall be evaluated on the following basis:

• The candidate must have passed the courses of the previous semester of the University from where he/she is migrating in order to get credit acceptance
• The courses not covered until now needs to be additionally covered by the student through various suggested options by IILM University
• The student will have to pass all those courses which are not mapped under the curriculum of pervious university/college, whenever they will be offered by the University
• The student will have to produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the institute/university where he/she is presently studying
