A full-time bachelor's degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit (10+2+3) with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA (47% for NC-OBC/EWS, 45% for SC/ST/DAP) is required for admission to the IIM Kashipur MBA programme. Candidates also need to have a valid GMAT score, with the exam taken no earlier than May 1, 2022, or a valid CAT-2023 score. For candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Non-Creamy Other Backward Class (NC-OBC), Differently Abled Person (DAP), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS), IIM Kashipur adheres to the Government of India's reservation policies.

The eligibility criteria for admission in Executive MBA programme at IIM Kashipur are as follows:
- Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
- Candidates should have a valid score in CAT/ GMAT/ EMAT exam based on which they will be shortlisted for the personal interview (PI) round.
- Candidates should have a three-year of work experience.
- Candidates must qualify the personal interview (PI) round followed by document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment in MBA programme.
