IIM Kozhikode considers national-level examination results for admission. The primary entrance exam for the flagship MBA (PGP) course and other management programs is the Common Admission Test (CAT). Additionally, the institute considers scores from exams like GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test), and other relevant national-level exams. For the Executive MBA (E-MBA) course, IIM Kozhikode conducts its own entrance exam, EMAT. The admission process for the year 2024 is entirely entrance-based, requiring applicants to first qualify in the national-level exams
