IIM Kozhikode - Indian Institute of Management

The students of PGP, PGP-BL and FPM programmes are required to reside on campus. Residential facilities in the campus include 13 student hostels and faculty guest houses. Roobaroo is a cultural event conducted every year during the induction of the new batch to acclimate students to IIMK culture and build a good on-campus community. The Students' Council facilitates elections to the other student committees on campus. In addition to elections, the Students' Council is involved in elective bidding, hostel bidding, co-ordinating other student bodies (IGs, clubs and committees), conducting Farewells, liaising with administration and institutional development activities.

Backwaters (the annual management fest), Echoes (the annual intercollegiate cultural event), E-Summit (the annual entrepreneur meet), and Horizons (the annual management conclave) are a few major events organised by the student body. Bhooklagi is a student-based start-up operating inside the campus. It is the first and only kind of startup that's operating in any IIM. Nostalgia is the annual on-campus alumni meet and has been conducted since 2004. Sangram is an annual sports meet with IIM Bangalore, IIM Trichy, and IIM Visakhapatnam with each institute hosting the event in alternate years.

Kozhikode Marathon Executive Committee of IIM Kozhikode has organized mini-marathon runs in Kozhikode annually. Besides student committees, the institute also has student interest groups for various fields of Management such as marketing, finance, consulting and hobby clubs, photography, music, dance, theatre etc. The institute also offers placement guidance for students and organises placement processes for the summer internship and outgoing batch.

The UWA Global MBA is a an online MBA programme that prepares working professionals for the modern business world. The University of Western Australia and Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Kozhikode have jointly launched a two-year online global MBA programme for students. The curriculum will have 12 modules, students have to complete first year six modules from IIM Kozhikode and second year six modules from UWA University. The University of Western Australia application fee for the programme is INR 3,500 and tuition fees is INR 5.60 L (the programme fee covers all programme materials.).

Graduates will receive a Master of Business Administration from The University of Western Australia and a Professional Certificate Programme in Advanced Business Management from IIM Kozhikode. Therefore, it's a great oppurtunity for Indian students to pursue Global MBA programme by the UWA in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.
